It may sound, at first, like a minor facilities decision. It is not. This choice would sacrifice mature public green space, worsen stormwater problems, increase slope-failure risk and diminish a place of deep importance to nearby residents and park users.
Gunnedah has claimed the 2025/26 Open Pennant State Finals Grade 4 title in a thrilling win at Nowra. Gunnedah fielded three teams of four players and faced Glenbrook in the grand final. Team one of Andrew Cameron, John Pryor, Mark Boyd and Caleb Cameron defeated the Glenbrook team 23 shots to 17.
