Beijing 1733 ByteDance Commercial Project / XU Studio

In highly rational and efficiently operated office parks, how can commercial spaces evolve beyond their role as functional amenities and become shared environments with a sense of life and warmth? The Beijing 1733 Public Space Renovation responds to this question through a strategy of lightweight intervention. Xu Studio revitalized the sunken commercial space and interior themed areas through the insertion of architectural elements, landscape integration, and the reshaping of commercial scenarios, redefining the role of commercial spaces within office campuses. Guided by open interfaces, natural elements, and diverse commercial programs, the design transforms the originally restrained architectural environment into a more vibrant and engaging public space.

The best font websites for Mac offer thousands of free and commercial typefaces, but licensing and compatibility can complicate the search. Here's how to find reliable font repositories, download fonts, and install them on your Mac. Choose your style with fonts Finding a good font isn't particularly difficult. The challenge is choosing a typeface that has the styles you need, works in your apps, and comes with a license that covers what you're making. The Expanded Scope of the Architect: Moving Windmills Innovation Center

What do architects do? This age-old question reveals the perennial dichotomy between two aspects of building–how to construct, and why to build. Despite its ancient origins and its name deriving from Ancient Greek, the profession is one that has transformed over the centuries. Its present-day form, usually dated to the Italian Renaissance, makes a distinction between the act of building and the intellectual and aesthetic decision-making behind it. However, we may be in the midst of another nascent transformation. The commissioning of architecture has historically remained separate from the practice, but as can be seen in the work of MASS and projects like the Moving Windmills Innovation Center, this distinction is beginning to blur.

Renovation of the Core Area of TAFA Art Block / Mix Architecture

To the west of the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts lies a century-old urban fabric. With the completion of the Tianjin Eye, the Haihe River's cultural and tourism flows converge at the Sancha Estuary, yet this nearby old town had remained a value depression dormant for two or three decades in the heart of the city. In 2022, the Hebei District Government of Tianjin and the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts signed an agreement to jointly advance the campus development and the comprehensive enhancement of the surrounding area, giving rise to the TAFA Art Block urban renewal project. The operator and the design team proposed the concept of an open art district integrating "the neighborhood, the campus, the scenic area, and the community"—a four-zone fusion. The core area is divided by Tianwei Road into Zone A to the south and Zone B to the north.
