Alzain Tareq competed in the 2015 World Swimming Championships at just ten years old. She was recognized as the youngest female participant in the event's history. Tareq swam in the 50m butterfly and 50m freestyle races against experienced international swimmers. She had been swimming competitively since she was four years old.
