Lawmaker to CNN: ‘Kill switch’ needed to take on rogue AI systems

As AI anxiety grows, Congressman Ted Lieu is pushing for a mandatory "kill switch" to pull the plug on rogue programs. The bipartisan co-sponsor of the AI Kill Switch Act tells CNN’s Erin Burnett: "It should be the first principle of AI safety that humans must be able to turn off AI systems and AI agents."
