Judge rules Trump administration illegally punished Anthropic

A judge has blocked the Trump administration from blacklisting artificial intelligence company Anthropic. Earlier this year, President Trump ordered federal agencies to stop using Anthropic's Claude AI assistant. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth also declared the company a supply chain risk. In 2000, Purdue University researchers developed a modified office chair that used pressure sensors and computer software to identify how people were sitting. Tested on 30 people, the system achieved 96 percent overall accuracy and was especially effective at recognizing slouching, reaching 99.8 percent accuracy for that posture.The chair created detailed pressure maps from information collected by sensing elements called “sensels,” allowing software to distinguish different seating positions.
