A woman has described the “very nice experience” of seeing a large pod of dolphins playing in the sea off Walney Island’s coast.
Carrion crows were observed using busy roads as nutcrackers. They placed walnuts in the path of vehicles to break hard shells. After cars moved away, the birds retrieved the exposed nut pieces.
