
Pennsylvania American Water Bills Rise as Aid Expands to $40
Pennsylvania American Water is implementing new water and wastewater rates, approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, to support a $1.2 billion infrastructure investment. While residential water bills will see an approximate $3 monthly increase, and wastewater bills will increase by $14-$17, the company is also expanding its customer assistance program. Monthly aid for eligible customers will rise from $25 to $40, alongside new arrearage forgiveness features to help manage bills.
