Yemen is witnessing another major escalation as massive blasts are reported in areas around Sanaa, with footage showing civilians fleeing as bombardment continues. Reports say Saudi strikes targeted areas linked to Ansarallah, the Houthi movement, amid a rapidly worsening conflict along Yemen’s Red Sea coast. The escalation comes as Houthi forces have made significant advances in western Yemen, including gaining control of strategically important territory near the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb. Reuters and AP report that the renewed fighting has raised concerns over global shipping, energy supplies and the possibility of a wider regional confrontation. The Houthis have also claimed that Saudi Arabia carried out more than 50 strikes against their positions within 24 hours. Those claims have not been independently verified in full. n18oc_worldn18oc_breaking- and of informed and engaged viewers. Follow Every Breaking Story LIVE
