Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha leader Devendra Nath Mahto was stopped from a Tiranga Yatra. He is on an indefinite hunger strike protesting recruitment examination irregularities. Thousands of people are demonstrating at the Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium protest site. Chief Minister Hemant Soren assured transparency in state examinations and recruitment processes. Mahto cautioned against attempts to fracture the ongoing student movement.
