Scotiabank issued CAD$1.25 billion in 10-year bonds in early July with a 4.223% coupon, due August 1, 2036. The bank also reset the interest rate on an additional CAD$1.25 billion of limited recourse capital notes, which mature in 2081 and now carry a 5.987% annual interest rate. These actions follow Scotiabank's Q2 revenues of CAD$9.8 billion, a 2% increase quarter-on-quarter and 7.7% year-on-year.
