Aerospace Global News tracked two Boeing 737-800s, one from Ryanair and one from Southwest Airlines, for a week during peak summer travel to compare their usage. The study found that Ryanair's aircraft, EI-GSH, flew more sectors, miles, and hours, and offered more capacity, despite Southwest's aircraft, N8582Z, having a longer average sector length. Both aircraft demonstrated impressive reliability, completing intense flying schedules without technical delays or cancellations.
