Mumbai recorded the immersion of 24,631 Lord Ganesh idols by 9 pm on Tuesday after one-and-a-half days of festivities. The figure included 110 public and 24,521 household idols. Another 600 Hartalika idols were immersed, taking total immersions to 25,231. The BMC reported no untoward incident during the process.
