Morgan Stanley increased its stake in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) by 23% in the second quarter, bringing its total holdings to 16.5 million shares. The investment banking giant also reported new positions in its own Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust and other crypto-linked funds, despite a decline in the value of its IBIT holdings due to Bitcoin's price drop.
