This decision eased immediate tensions following recent enforcement actions by the transport department. The government will now organize Marathi classes and provide study materials for drivers. This move aims to balance the Shiv Sena's Marathi push and the BJP's concerns. Notices issued earlier may be re-evaluated under this new grace period.
