The Bombay High Court held that a BCI-recognised foreign law degree does not automatically make a student eligible for India’s three-year LL.B. course. The court said the course requires a prior Bachelor’s Degree in another discipline and upheld the cancellation of Yohaan Abraham’s provisional admission.
