GameSquare Holdings, parent company of FaZe Esports, reported a net loss of $28.2 million for the first half of 2026, including a $10.6 million loss in Q2 2026. Despite a 117% increase in revenue to $33.0 million, significant unrealized losses of $22.4 million from cryptocurrency investments, primarily Ethereum, contributed heavily to the deficit. The company is also implementing a reverse stock split to regain NASDAQ compliance as its stock ($GAME) has been trading below the $1.00 minimum requirement for nearly a year.
