IRGC Boats ATTACK U.S. Aircraft In Hormuz; America Fires Missiles, Iranian Fishermen Missing
An American drone reportedly destroyed two Iranian boats after US officials accused their crews of attempting to seize an unmanned Navy surface vessel near the Strait of Hormuz. US Central Command confirmed the alleged seizure attempt but has not publicly released evidence identifying those aboard as members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard. Iranian media presented a sharply different account, reporting that American missiles struck two fishing boats and left an unspecified number of fishermen missing. Search-and-rescue operations were reportedly launched. No independently verified footage has established whether the vessels were civilian fishing boats, IRGC-operated craft or military boats disguised as civilian vessels. What is confirmed is that two vessels were destroyed as the contest for control of Hormuz expands.
