After decades-long ban, Central Saanich farmers welcome return of potato

Potato farming was banned in Central Saanich decades ago in response to a devastating pest. However, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency lifted the complete ban in December. Farmers in the area are now harvesting their first potato crop since the 1980s.
